Customized Remote Support Sensors
Remote Support Services are intended to be used when someone can be supervised and assisted with technology, to increase independence in their home in the least intrusive manner possible. Remote Support systems are a customized network of sensors chosen by an individual and/or their guardian that meets their needs. We respond to and assist the individual when necessary.
THS partners with a large number of Direct Care Staff Agencies, and is willing to partner with anyone that we don’t currently work with. The staffing companies we partner with provide a paid backup to come into the home with in-person help that might be necessary. When we are alerted to emergency situations, we will dispatch 911 services and coordinate with everyone on the individual’s call tree to ensure fast and effective help.

How Does Remote Support Work?
Well Placed Sensors
Remote Support Services are intended to be used when someone can be assisted with technology to increase independence in their home in the least intrusive way possible. Remote Support systems are a customized network of sensors chosen by an individual and/or their guardian that meets their needs. Our Remote Support Professionals respond to and assist the individual when necessary from our remote response center.
Once alerted, our Remote Support Professional immediately follows the Individual specific protocols for responding to the alert. Typically, the RSP will reach out to the Individual using the two-way talk video intercom device to speak with them face to face and ensure they are OK. The Remote Support Professional will then make note of the alert, their response and any follow-up required.
THS partners with many Provider and Direct Care Staff Agencies to make these services available to anyone who would like to use them. The Provider and Direct Care Staff Agencies we partner with provide a professional backup caregiver to come into the home whenever in-person help might be necessary.
Remote Support Monitoring
The components of the system are designed to be no different than that of a typical home security system. These sensors will blend seamlessly into the environment and give minimal indication that they are anything other than traditional home security sensors. The number of sensors used in a home is completely up to the team and we are happy to assist with this. Sensors Create a Safe Space
Each sensor reports to a centralized hub in the home which transmits data to the cloud. That information is continuously viewed by our Remote Support Professionals and acted upon in accordance with the protocols established by the team.
We work with the individual’s team to create a customized plan to meet health and safety requirements. Once a plan is in place, our RSP’s know exactly how to respond in the event of an alert. A call tree is also put in place to ensure someone is always there to receive the data and make the necessary decisions.
